Feeling lost or stuck as a creator? Here’s what I learned during my reset, and why being off track might be part of the realignment.

I ain’t gon lie — being off track taught me more than I expected.

I realized I’ve been torn when it comes to content. I genuinely want to see people win. I want to be the change in the industry. But somewhere deep down, I started doubting if anyone’s even listening. What if I’m doing all this for nothing?

That thought eats at me sometimes. It makes me want to pull back and just apply everything I know only to myself and my artistry. And honestly? I have supreme confidence in my music. My pen, my ear, my delivery — unmatched. But sometimes it feels like the message I bring ain’t what people wanna hear right now.

I feel like Unc in a young nicca game. Like I got the moves, but I’m moving at a different speed — and even though I go hard, it still feels like effort is being overlooked. So what do I do with that?

Here’s what I learned being off track:

I’ve been accomplishing things since I was young — and I need to celebrate my wins more, even if no one else claps for me. Humbleness is important, but the beast is necessary too. You can have a powerful message, but if the approach and presentation is off, the message gets lost. I finally understood what they mean when they say, “You catch more bees with honey.” Most importantly: I’m alone in this, and all I have is the love from those who really show up for me.

This past week, I didn’t get content done. But I handled life work. I grew in silence. And now I’m showing back up.

This ain’t a restart. This is a reset.

I’m still here. And I’m still moving.
